Terms of Sale

A deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) at the time you place your order will reserve a kid from a specific doe. Kids from any pre-ordered kidding (from the same doe) will be dispensed in the order that the deposits on them have been received (per postmark). Unless other arrangement have been made in advance. If any pre-ordered kid is not born, or becomes unavailable, for some unforeseen reason, the deposit can either be returned, applied toward the purchase of a substitute kid, or held toward the next year's kidding. All prices quoted are for *at the farm* pick up, at four to five weeks of age. Hold overs may receive additional charges commiserate with upkeep and extended care...at a rate of $5.00 per week.

Transportation arrangements shall be made to the agreement of ourselves and the purchasing party. Air travel will be out of LVI (Lehigh Valley International) or Phila. International Airports. We have shipping crates in a variety of sizes, but the purchaser may ship us his own crate, at his own expense, if he so desires. Naturally, the smaller the crate and the younger the kid, the less it will cost to ship. We do not charge for the trip to the airport, but all other costs and fees (such as Health Papers & Specific Tests) for the delivery of a purchased kid, shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. Flight arrangements can be made from our end if the kid is paid in full and the full ticket price for shipping is sent to us. The simplest way, though not the cheapest, to send kids is to ship them C.O.D. (cash on delivery). The least expensive way is US AIR PDQ (small packages, under 100 lbs). This is a prepaid sevice, with guaranteed space on the flight, unlike freight shipmants.

And additional expenses incurred by ourselves, in helping to make a delivery to the purchaser, shall be passed on, with receipts whenever possible, to the purchaser.

Any medical expenses incurred, for delivery of a purchased kid, such as the need for interstate health papers (required for air shipment) or specific tests or innoculations, for entry to certain states and countries, shall be charged to the purchaser. All receipts for expenses will be forwarded for reimbursement.

All normal care, such as disbudding, tattooing, and routine innoculations and maintenance will be taken care of by us.

Our herd is routinely tested for TB. Brucellosis and other conditions. We take the utmost care and pride in the health of our animals. All the kids leaving the farm must be in the best of health, or will be held here until they are. Purchaser will be notified immediately if there is a problem and will be kept abreast of progress.

Request for the replacement of any specific purchased animal or return of purchase price, after delivery to the purchaser, much be accompanied by a full medical work-up (stating the reasons) from a qualified and practising veterinarian, unless we arrange otherwise. We stand behind our animals and will do anything (within reason) to provide complete satisfaction.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RETAIN KIDS FROM ANY SPECIFIC BREEDING FOR USE AS REPLACEMENTS IN OUR HERD. WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WITHHOLD FROM SALE ANY KIDS BORN WITH OBVIOUS PHYSICAL OR STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS OR DEFORMITIES. IF A PRE-ORDERED KID FALLS INTO THIS CATAGORY, WE WILL CONTACT THE PURCHASER IMMEDIATELY.
