Harold and I met, and married while we were still in school. We have been married for 36 years, as of April 1998. We have one son, Wayne, who is married, and two lovely grand-daughters..... Amanda and Hannah. We got started with the dairy goats just before our son graduated from high shcool, so he was never in 4-H or really involved with the animals....... Harold is a tool and die maker, and works with the Prototype Dept. of Porter Instrument Co. (makers of dental and anesthesia equipment, among other things). He works in conjunction with the Engineering Dept, building, and helping develop samples of new product ideas.. I have worked, intermittently, at many things..... waitress, manufacturing, banking, jewelry repair and engraving, advertising layout, free lance writing.... and art student. I was, for the last several years of her life, the primary care-giver for my mother, who was severely handicapped with rheumatoid arthritis. I have also been and continue to be...milkmaid, midwife, vet tech and general herd slave for my beloved Alpines....
